Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) National Emergency Declared: CMS Restricts all AL Visitors Except End-of-Life Situations Following a declaration of a State of Emergency by the President yesterday, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued new guidance that is based on the newest recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It directs Assisted Living Communities to significantly restrict visitors and nonessential personnel, as well as restrict communal activities inside Assisted Living Comminiuites. All individuals other than essential health care staff and visits for end-of-life situations, should no longer enter Assisted Living facilities until further notice. Update 3/16/2020 1:59pm

Thomas is a long time employee of Amber Hills Senior Living, having started in October of 2012. Thomas's compassion and dedication to seniors is obvious in the way he works every day. At Amber Hills, he has worked as a caregiver, which earned him Caregiver of the Year award in 2015 by the Washington Health Care Assocation, Med Tech, and most recently was promoted to Executive Director. Thomas has a passion for the residents and their families, to assure their questions are answered correctly and efficiently. If there isn't anything he doesn't know, he'll find someone who does. In his spare time, Thomas enjoys wine tasting, traveling, and spending time with his significant other and their two dogs and one cat.
